American Safety & Health Institute Basic First Aid

This is a nationally recognized program that meets the OSHA standard for first aid training. First Aid covers the immediate response to an injury or illness and the first few minutes of care.

  • Universal Precautions
  • Bleeding Control
  • Treatment for Shock
  • Treatment for Burns
  • Muscle and Bone Injuries
  • Head, Neck, and Spine Injuries
  • Recognition of Sudden Illnesses
  • Diabetes
  • Asthma
  • Seizures
  • Allergic attacks
  • Poisons
  • Frost Bite and Hypothermia
  • Heat Exhaustion and Heat Stroke

    Immediately upon successful completion of this training, the participants will receive an American Safety & Health Institute course completion card with a suggested retraining date of three years.
