First Aid Classes for All Needs

Know CPR offers nationally-accredited American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI) and MEDIC FIRST AID First Aid programs. All First Aid programs offered by Know CPR meet the requirements or standards of the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA).  

American Safety & Health Institute and MEDIC FIRST AID Basic First Aid

This is a nationally-recognized program that meets the OSHA standard for first aid training.

Objectives

• Personal Safety and Primary Assessment

• Universal Precautions

• Recovery Position

• Good Samaritan

• Head, Neck, and Back Injury

• Bleeding & Shock

• Burns and chemical injuries

• Strains, Sprains, Dislocations, and Fractures

• Poisoning,

• Heat Exhaustion and Heat Stroke

• Hypothermia and Frostbite

• Sudden Illnesses: Altered Mental Status, Allergic Reaction, Asthma, Diabetes

• Stroke, Heart Attack, and Seizure 

Immediately upon successful completion of this training, the participants will receive an American Safety & Health Institute or a MEDIC FIRST AID course completion card with a suggested retraining date of two years.
